Hi. I’m Todd.
Please don’t judge me based on my somewhat grumpy-looking face in my photos; I’m just not big on having my picture taken.
I’m a really big boy. Some volunteers here say I may have Maine Coon in me.
When I first was brought to the shelter, I started out very nervous and wasn’t really into people being all touchy-touchy with me, but I’ve flourished into the kitty I was meant to be, now that I know I’m safe and that people actually aren’t so bad.
I love to be petted but usually won’t come up to you for the attention. I like to do my own thing most of the time, but if you come up and give me head scratches, I’ll totally love it. When you scratch my lower back, I do a funny thing some of the volunteers call “ice-cream licks,” where I will lick the air until you stop.
If you’re looking for a cat that isn’t overly gushy and cuddly, just one that will nap near you and keep you company, you’re looking at him.
I get along with other kitties, but I’m not big on cuddling or interacting with them much. I’m not sure about dogs as I’ve never really been around them.
I’d be best in an older person’s home, preferably with no young kids — just teens or older, please.
I am a medium-hair, grey, neutered male who was born in August 2021.
