Creative Nomad Studios is hosting a “Let’s Get Real About Small Business” debate with Simcoe North provincial election candidates.

The May 18 event will be held in person at Creative Nomad Studios, 23 Mississaga St. W. in downtown Orillia. It will also be live streamed.

Doors will open at 6 p.m., with the event starting at 6:30.

Tickets are free but limited and must be reserved in advance.

All Simcoe North candidates have been invited to participate. Ontario New Blue Party candidate Mark Douris has declined and officials are still waiting to hear from incumbent Progressive Conservative MPP Jill Dunlop.

“After surveying small businesses within the catchment area and coming up with questions that matter to our local business owners, we are ready to put them to the candidates,” read a Creative Nomad Studios news release.

The debate will be moderated by Carey Moran, morning show host with Pure Country 106.

The event will be live streamed on the Creative Nomad Studios YouTube channel and all of its social media channels.
