OrilliaMatters, in partnership with the Ontario SPCA Orillia Animal Centre, brings you a regular feature highlighting a special pet that is in need of adoption.

Hi, everyone. My name is Jack.

I ended up at the shelter as a stray. Since my arrival here, I have warmed up to all the shelter staff and volunteers. I am still quite shy, but I have learned to accept hugs and cuddles, and I love to play in the yard.

I like to jump, so I would not do well with small children simply because I am a little clumsy.

The staff are still learning about my likes and dislikes, but so far I have really come along and enjoy being with people. I am house trained and have a great appetite.

If you'd like to meet me, please contact the Ontario SPCA Orillia Animal Centre for a meet-and-greet. I can’t wait to find my forever family.
