Dr. Jeff Pitcher is an exceptional health-care worker and volunteer whose impact on the Orillia community goes beyond his medical practice.
Before opening his own practice, Dr. Pitcher volunteered with the Salvation Army and went to Ground Zero after September 11, 2001 to provide mental health and food support to people in need at the site in New York City.
Continuing to go above and beyond, he volunteered his assistance in Louisiana after Hurricane Katrina hit.
Dr. Pitcher’s commitment to volunteer work and helping others demonstrates his unwavering support for individuals when they need it most.
In 2011, Dr. Pitcher opened his own practice, where he provides compassionate care to individuals in the area.
During the pandemic, Dr. Pitcher created a Facebook group called Orillia and Area COVID-19 Group. He used the platform to provide the community with reliable information and updates during the pandemic, demonstrating his dedication to the community's well-being.
In recent years, Dr. Pitcher volunteered with Rescuers Without Borders, aiding citizens from Ukraine who were forced to flee due to the war with Russia.
Always putting the community’s wellness first, Dr. Pitcher is an inspiration to many and serves as a reminder of the significant impact individuals can have within and outside of their community.
