There are just three races left in this Formula 1 season, starting with Sunday's Las Vegas Grand Prix. Entering this race, Max Verstappen leads the championship standings, expanding on his lead by winning the most recent race in Brazil.

Verstappen has 393 points while Lando Norris is back in second with 331 points. What will happen this weekend in Las Vegas?

While the driver title isn't much of a competition at this point, the constructor title is. McLaren currently leads with 593 points, but Ferrari isn't far back with 557. Red Bull remains in the hunt as well with 544 points. Mercedes is locked into fourth and Aston Martin likely has a grip on fifth, but the battle for sixth is tight as well, with Alpine, Haas, and RB all within five points.

At Interlagos earlier in the month, Verstappen qualified just 17th in a rain-soaked weekend but came from the back to earn a shocking victory. Verstappen hasn't clinched the title, but it's going to be tough for Norris to mount any realistic attempt at dethroning Verstappen and preventing the Red Bull star from earning his fourth championship.

George Russell is on pole this weekend while Carlos Sainz Jr. starts second. Alpine's Pierre Gasly, fresh off a shocking podium in Brazil, starts third, while Sainz's Ferrari teammate Charles Leclerc is fourth on the grid.

Last year, Verstappen won this race by 2.070 seconds over Leclerc. Verstappen's Red Bull teammate Sergio Perez finished third. Don't expect a repeat podium this week for Perez, as he struggled in qualifying, failing to make it out of the first qualifying round.
