Everywhere I look lately I see government-paid (taxpayer-paid) ads telling us how great the carbon tax is and how the taxpayer gets back what they paid.
Well, living in the country my propane heating bill shows I've paid $500 in carbon tax this year.
That doesn't include the amount I pay for fuel for my transportation, since there is no public transit out my way.
So I guess they are using the difference between what I paid and what I get back to pay for these ads.
