I am writing this letter on December 25 , 2024.

I have been held hostage by Canada Post since November 15 , 2024 which is 40 long days.

I was unable to obtain my important documents and it seems my important documents are still tied up in the postal system someplace waiting to be sorted.

With any luck at all I will receive my important documents before the Canada Post goes on strike again.

Canada Post should be considered an essential service that continues no matter the climate, and we should not be held hostage by the Canada Postal workers.

The government should make the Canada Postal system an essential service so that we can obtain our much needed important documents in the mail.

We should not be held as hostages due to disputes between the government and the postal workers.

The government and the postal workers should negotiate the differences between themselves and let us obtain our much needed mail and important documents.
