The following letter is in response to a letter, titled Renovate instead of replace Terry Fox Circle, published May 27.
The Terry Fox circle is the best, most appealing aspect of the park, with or without the missing landmark monument.
It's what makes a visit to the park a worthwhile adventure, amazing view, convenient access for kids and grandparents to the elaborate playground, music pavilions, and our amazing beach, and convenient parking and turnaround.
The people, public emphatically support it. Why does it seem our elected representatives are deaf to this?
