The federal government is expected to release their Clean Energy Regulations any day, a policy that will help people access affordable, reliable, and 100 per cent clean electricity.

In response, Premier Doug Ford’s political cronies made one last-ditch attempt to kill the policy last week, releasing a dubious report attacking the affordability of clean electricity.

These federal regulations are a huge step forward in tackling climate change. Making sure more of our electricity production is renewable would mean more good-paying jobs, healthier air for our kids, and affordable, reliable electricity for everyone in Canada.

But Conservative premiers like Doug Ford and Danielle Smith have proven they’ll do everything in their power to delay and weaken the climate policies we need no matter the cost to Canadians.
