NEWS RELEASE
ONTARIO SPCA ORILLIA ANIMAL CENTRE

The Ontario SPCA Orillia Animal Centre has placed 112 animals into loving homes since it kicked off its iAdopt for the Holidays campaign last month and has set a goal to try to find forever families for another 26 animals before the end of the year.
iAdopt for the Holidays, supported by Royal Canin, kicked off at the Orillia Animal Centre on Nov. 1 and runs until Dec. 31 at participating SPCAs, Humane Societies and rescue groups nation wide. The goal is to get as many animals as possible placed into loving homes during the holiday season. Last year, over 4,000 animals from across Canada found their forever homes during the iAdopt for the Holidays campaign.
“If you’ve been thinking of adopting a pet, give a homeless animal the gift of a loving family to call their own,” says Carol Beard, Manager, Orillia Animal Centre. “With people having time off from work and being home together as a family, the holidays are a great time to welcome a new furry companion and help them get settled.”
Adopt a pet from the Orillia Animal Centre during the iAdopt for the Holidays campaign and your name will be entered for a chance to win free pet food for a year from Royal Canin.
