The show must go on.
Despite a couple of setbacks, the inaugural Big Sky Music Festival drew an enthusiastic crowd of campers and country music lovers to the scorching-hot Burl's Creek Event Grounds on Friday and Saturday.
After headliner Alabama had to back out due to health issues Thursday, organizers managed to get Big and Rich to fill the void.
Then, Diamond Rio had to cancel Saturday morning due to travel issues. However, Tim Hicks was brought in to take that band's place.
The crowd seems to be enjoying the day-long festival regardless, taking in high-energy performances by artists including Minesing's own Jason McCoy.
