About 1,000 people packed Bayview Memorial Park in Oro-Medonte on Saturday for An Autumn Mariposa.
The event was a Mariposa Folk Foundation offering featuring performances by Treasa Levasseur, Aleksi Campagne, Union Duke, and Irish Mythen.
“We are a sold-out event for the show today,” said Pam Carter, president of the Mariposa Folk Foundation, and festival organizer. “We couldn’t have asked for a better day for an outdoor concert than today.”
In addition to live music, guests enjoyed a beer garden, a barbecue and more.
Following the daytime event, an evening performance was scheduled to take place at the Orillia Opera House featuring Juno-nominated Dala, followed by award-winning singer-songwriter Julian Taylor.
Festival organizers thanked the stage and sound crews, musicians, volunteers, and the audience for taking part.
