BREAKING: Missing Barrie girl located safe in Toronto

Three-year-old was the subject of an early morning Amber Alert

Three-year-old Arabella Vienneau has been located safe and is being returned to family, according to police.

Barrie police communications co-ordinator Peter Leon has confirmed to BarrieToday that Vienneau was located “in good condition in Toronto and arrangements are being made to bring her back to Barrie.”

No further details were available as of yet, but BarrieToday will provide updates as more details become available.

Vienneau was last seen by a family member at a Tunbridge Road home in the city's east end at 5:30 p.m., Tuesday.

Just after 12 a.m., Wednesday, an Amber Alert was issued.

Last night, Leon told BarrieToday that police were called to assist with “a community-based agency where two children were to be at a residence but only one was.”

Leon was also asked about how the investigation led them to the little girl in Toronto.

“It has been a very challenging overnight period for our investigators, but our focus has been on locating Arabella and safely bringing her home," Leon said.
