Thick smoke is hanging over Silver Creek Estates this evening after a raging fire destroyed a pair of mobile homes and a detached garage.
Flames could be seen shooting out of the roofs of the two neighbouring homes on JV Parkway in the mobile home park in Severn Township.
At 8:30 p.m. crews from Severn Township were still battling the blaze and trying to ensure the fire does not spread to any neighbouring homes.
Simcoe County paramedics and Orillia OPP officers are also on the scene. Police urge people to stay away from the area.
It doesn’t appear that there are any injuries but details are scant as emergency personnel focus on fighting the fire.
