Online petition calls for tougher bail laws to protect victims of intimate partner violence

CFUW Orillia has a long history of advocacy and this year is focussing its advocacy efforts on diminishing domestic violence.

With the sponsorship of our Member of Parliament, Adam Chambers, CFUW Orillia has created an online petition in support of a CFUW national resolution — strengthening bail laws to protect victims of intimate partner violence.

We are asking the public to please consider signing the online petition to the federal government, which, with a minimum of 500 signatures, will be presented in the House of Commons by Adam Chambers.
