Snow squall warning issued for:
   Barrie - Orillia - Midland, Ont.

Current details:
Snow squalls ending by early afternoon.

Hazards:
Additional local snowfall with accumulations of 10 cm.
Peak snowfall rates of 2 to 4 cm per hour.
Very poor to near zero visibility at times in heavy snow.

Timing:
Snow squalls are expected to taper off by early afternoon.

Snow squalls cause weather conditions to vary considerably; changes from clear skies to heavy snow within just a few kilometres are common.

Prepare for quickly changing and deteriorating travel conditions. Public Safety Canada encourages everyone to make an emergency plan and get an emergency kit with drinking water, food, medicine, a first-aid kit and a flashlight.
