A fire did extensive damage to a stand-alone garage in Severn Township on Sunday afternoon.
Crews were dispatched to Telford Line just before noon on Sunday after receiving reports of "visible flames" coming from a structure on the rural property.
Four Severn Township fire trucks and the Fire Chief answered the call and were able to quickly get the fire under control.
There was no one injured in the blaze that did extensive damage to the stand-alone structure. Fortunately, firefighters were able to contain the blaze to the garage; it did not damage the adjacent residence.
A crew from Hydro One is on the scene.
