Mayor Steve Clarke presented grants to four local organizations at Orillia City Centre as part of the 2019 general grants program on July 25, 2019.

“The City of Orillia is proud to continue to support local organizations through the general grants program,” said Mayor Steve Clarke.

“Orillia is fortunate to have such dedicated volunteers and community groups who contribute to the betterment of the community, giving their time towards worthy causes and events.”

Grant recipients:

  • Born to Read Committee: $750
  • Orillia Terry Fox Run Committee: $706.87
  • Orillia Jazz Festiva: $1,000
  • Orillia Vocal Ensemble: $1,500

This is the second round of grants for the 2019 general grants program. The total City of Orillia grants budget for 2019 is $32,000.
