On Feb. 15, 2025, at 3 p.m., Chrystia Freeland, [who has served as] deputy prime minister of Canada and minister of finance, will be visiting Symposium Cafe in Barrie as part of her leadership bid for the Liberal Party of Canada.
This exciting event, sponsored by the Federal Liberal Party of Barrie-Springwater-Oro-Medonte, will provide an opportunity for community members to engage with Freeland in a Q&A meet-and-greet town hall.
The town hall will offer a unique chance for local residents to hear from one of Canada’s most prominent political figures as she outlines her vision for the future of the Liberal Party and the country. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions, share their concerns and engage in meaningful conversation about Canada's path forward under Freeland’s leadership.
