Big Brothers Big Sisters of Orillia and District is hard at work preparing for their 28th annual Golf for Kids’ Sake charity golf tournament proudly presented by Harvey’s Orillia.
This year, Golf for Kids’ Sake takes place on Friday, Aug. 25 at the beautiful Settlers' Ghost golf club. The tournament will begin with an early morning shotgun start and golfers will enjoy 18 holes with power cart, a light breakfast, barbecue lunch, access to great raffle prizes, and more!
Registration per foursome is $660 or $165 per player. Golfers can also purchase the additional ‘Passport to Fun’ to participate in the longest drive, closest to the pin, and golf club swap challenges.
New this year, the ‘Passport to Fun’ also makes golfers eligible to win a brand-new Volkswagen SUV courtesy of Orillia Volkswagen or a $15,000 cash prize courtesy of McLean & Dickey Insurance.
The tournament can accommodate more than 70 golfers of all age ranges, professions, and ability levels.
"This highly anticipated event is essential in supporting the local Big Brothers Big Sisters agency that provides no-cost mentoring programs to more than 250 children and youth annually," said Haleigh Payne, the organizations' fundraising and community development coordinator.
