Over 130 '90s-clad gamers gathered on Saturday, Nov. 9 at Orillia Square mall for Green Haven After Dark, the highly anticipated fundraiser which raised over $23,000 in support of their Child & Youth Program, helping young survivors of gender-based violence.

Guests danced the night away with a live DJ and '90s-themed music, competed in classic arcade games, and won dozens of prizes and silent auction items to choose from.

With live music from DJ Jordan of Joyful Receptions, and MC'd by local drag sensation Justine D'as, the night surpassed their original goal of $20,000.

Linda Reid, Green Haven’s Executive Director, shared her gratitude: “People definitely got into the theme this year! The community’s support and enthusiasm means so much. The funds will go a long way in providing the care and resources for our young shelter participants."

Special thanks go to Lauren Andrew Events, whose planning made the night a huge success, and to the generous sponsors, including Alta Vista Planning Partners, First General Property Restoration Specialists, Catalyst Communications, Rostance Electric, Csumrik and Associates, O'Coin Walker & Associates BMO Private Wealth, Eclectic Cafe and many more who brought Green Haven After Dark to life.
