OPP Women's Symposium

The Orillia Provincial Police invite local women to a one-day information session for those interested in joining the service. The event at General Headquarters runs from 8:45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. on Saturday

Wheels & Wetlands

A guided cycling tour of Orillia's watershed teaches lessons about the rare cold-water stream that needs to be protected and restored. The leisurely 15 km bike ride begins at Couchiching Beach Park by the Rotary Aqua Theatre at 10 a.m. on Saturday.

Community Fundraiser for HEART Retreat

Food, vendors, a silent auction, and a petting zoo aim to raise funds for HEART Retreat, which offers equine-assisted learning, to support more youth and emergency personnel in Simcoe Muskoka. The ODAS Park event goes from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.

Music in the Park

As the sun sets over Lake Couchiching on Sunday evening, the Markham Concert Band will take the stage at the Rotary Aqua Theatre. The family-friendly concert is free.

Fish Dinner & Bingo Fundraiser

A tasty, battered haddock with fries, tartar sauce, coleslaw and pop will be served at the Ramona Hall in Washago on Saturday night. Dinner will be served for $20 until 6:45 p.m. with bingo following at 7 p.m.
