Orillia Terriers home opener

The McLean & Dickey Orillia Terriers take on the Huntsville Otters on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. at the Rotary Place in west Orillia. During the second intermission, selected fans will have the chance to shoot from centre ice for a State and Main gift card.

Orillia Curling Club open house and in-person registration

The Orillia Curling Club is seeking new members for the upcoming season. For more information about the inclusive game and registration, the open house event runs on Saturday and Sunday this weekend from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Barnfield Point Recreation Centre.

Oro World's Fair

The Oro World’s Fair takes place this Friday and Saturday at the Oro Fairgrounds at the corner of 15/16 Sideroad and Line 7. 

There are horsemanship classes and classes for all the farm animals you can think of, antique cars, as well as a tractor pull and the demolition derby to round things off at 3 p.m. on Saturday.

Orillia Psychic Tea Party

Tea leaf readings may show what's invested for your future. The tea party takes place at the Best Western Plus Mariposa Inn & Conference Centre on Saturday and Sunday from 12 to 5 p.m.
