Below are five area events among the many happening this weekend:

Orillia Terriers

The Jr. C Orillia hockey club is hosting the Innisfil Spartans at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday night at Rotary Place in west Orillia. The Terriers are sitting in second place in the North Carruthers Division after defeating their rivals, the Stayner Siskins, on Thursday night.

Green Haven After Dark

The ultimate 90s-themed late-night carnival experience brings an evening of games, music, delicious food, and drinks to Orillia on Saturday evening to support a vital cause. The event takes place from 8 p.m. to 12 a.m. at Orillia Square mall.

Family Art

Drop by the family department at the Orillia Public Library on Sunday from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. for a fun art project that all skill levels will enjoy. Let your creativity flow with different materials and inspirations.

Special Remembrance Day Event

The award-winning Remembrance Day event at the Orillia Public Library brings new displays and interactive activities to the Orillia Public Library's exhibit rooms. The event features Canadian military uniforms, artifacts, and memorabilia. The free family-friendly event takes place on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Cornhole Tournament

The Orillia Cornhole Club is hosting a tournament at ODAS Park on Sunday at 9 a.m. for players of all skill levels. Players must register ahead of time and limited spots are remaining.
