Each Tuesday, members of the Orillia chapter of the Ganaraska Hiking Club venture out into the great outdoors to enjoy some exercise and fellowship.
This week, the regular group of hikers went on an easy ramble through the South Strachan Tract of the Simcoe County Forest.
Loose snow was shallow on a good base, with good footing, making for, basically, a walk through the forest. It was a great way to enjoy the out of doors as this winter is not proving to be too harsh.
As always, anyone can join in on the walks. Visit the website, www_ganaraska_hiking.org, for details about the club and its events.
