Georgian College Career and Employment Community Services is organizing a job fair featuring about 18 employers from Orillia and area.

Employers will be looking for full-time, part-time and seasonal employees, explained Christine Quesnelle, marketing specialist with Georgian’s Career and Employment Community Services.

“Whether it’s students looking for summer work, or new graduates looking for employment opportunities, I would encourage anyone to check it out,” she said. “There’s a pretty vast assortment of skills and experience employers will be looking for.”

Orillia employers taking part include, but are not limited to, Costco, PepsiCo, Polyethics Industries and the City of Orillia, and there will also be businesses from surrounding areas, including Fern Resort and Rawley Resort.

Quesnelle said employers who aren’t able to participate in Monday’s job fair are welcome to contact the Career and Employment Community Services office at Georgian College’s Orillia campus at any time for assistance in connecting with potential employees.

Monday’s job fair will take place from 3 to 7 p.m. There will be the opportunity for some on-the-spot interviews.

Pre-registration is not required, but it is encouraged. To sign up, email [email protected].
