TORONTO – Saying “yes” to Encore paid off for Georgina Brooker of Barrie. She matched the last six of seven Encore numbers in exact order in the Dec. 22, 2020 Lotto Max draw to win $100,000!

Georgina, a 63-year-old healthcare worker, said she is a regular lottery player, and this isn’t her first big win. “I won $250,000 on ENCORE (Super 7 draw) back in 2003!” she shared while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up her winnings.

The married mother said she was shocked and surprised after seeing her ENCORE numbers matched the winning ones. “I was so happy! I walked into the room where my husband was, and cool as a cucumber said, I did it again,” she laughed.

Georgina plans to complete some renovations around the house, share some with her son and plan a trip to Europe when it’s safe to travel again.

Encore offers 22 ways to win and can be played in conjunction with most lottery games for an extra $1. There is an Encore draw every day.

OLG is currently booking in-person prize claim appointments at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto only for those claims that require a face-to-face interview. Customers with prizes over $50,000 are asked to call 1-800-387-0098 to discuss available prize claim options.

Prize claims up to $49,999.90 should continue to be submitted by mail. The health and safety of our customers and employees remains our top priority and OLG looks forward to providing future updates on the further availability of in-person prize claims.

The winning ticket was purchased at Circle K on Little Avenue in Barrie.
