While the record snowfall has become a pain for many, local hikers are embracing it.
On Tuesday, four members of the Ganaraska Hiking Trail Association took to the Woods Tract in Severn Township.
“We had tons of fun cutting trails, admiring the forest in snow, doing the snowshoe limbo (branches that normally aren’t an issue suddenly seem much lower), and all the while getting a great workout,” said local club president Carol Strickland. “This winter has been outstanding for snowshoeing — and plenty more to come, it seems.”
