On Saturday, the sun was out and the skies were blue, making for an idyllic day for a hike.
Members of the Orillia chapter of the Ganaraska Hiking Club took advantage of the beautiful, albeit chilly fall day to enjoy a hike on a Simcoe County Mountain Bike Club trail near the Couchiching Conservancy's East Coulson Swamp property.
Because it's hunting season, club members wore bright, reflective colours - something the club urges all hikers to do at this time of year.
