Local urologist will take questions at prostate cancer forum

ORILLIA PROSTATE CANCER AWARENESS GROUP

The final meeting of the year for the Orillia Prostate Cancer Awareness Group will be Thursday, Nov. 14.

Special guest is Dr. Tyler Gray, a urologist and urological surgeon, knowledgeable in prostate cancer issues, treatment options and coping strategies to use to deal with the resulting side effects.

This will be a question and answer session with Dr. Gray, so that audience members can put forth their queries and get clarifications about the issues related to prostate cancer.

This is a chance for all to come out and ask questions, which they might not have been able to ask during appointments with their doctors. 

This information session is an opportunity to educate, inquire, and learn from the expert. It is also a chance to learn and meet others and learn from the experiences. 

The meeting will be at the Royal Canadian Legion, 215 Mississaga St. E. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and Dr. Gray will start talking at 7 p.m. Light refreshments will be available and everyone is welcome to attend.
