Nominating is 'a small gesture that can have a big impact in letting veterinary professionals know how much you appreciate everything they do', says Ontario SPCA and Humane Society official.

Is your pet’s vet the best?

You can show your local veterinary team some love for keeping your furry friends happy and healthy by nominating them in the Ontario SPCA and Humane Society’s Veterinary Appreciation Contest, which runs from June 17 to 28.

In a news release, the organizations says you can help say thank you to veterinary teams who give so much by nominating your pet’s veterinary clinic and encourage family and friends to vote in support.

The veterinary clinic with the most votes will receive a plaque and a complimentary lunch for their staff.

“We encourage anyone with a pet to take the time to nominate their local veterinary professionals,” said Dr. Jill Kirk, chief veterinary officer at the Ontario SPCA and Humane Society.

“It’s a small gesture that can have a big impact in letting veterinary professionals know how much you appreciate everything they do to help the animals who bring us so much love and joy.”
