And we continue the model pioneered by Mariposa in the '60's where diverse artists collaborate in one-of-a-kind workshops, creating spontaneous musical magic.
"This festival is more than the music we're already familiar with," said Scott. "=It's about new discoveries. I'm really looking forward to July!”
According to Festival Chair, Pam Carter, "This exciting artistic lineup will entertain and delight the Mariposa audience, and it is a stepping stone to a very special 60th anniversary festival coming together for 2020. In the next few weeks we look forward to announcing lots more programming for Mariposa 2019 including Folkplay for kids, the Artisans’ Village, the Community Village, our fantastic food vendors, and lots of engaging interactive and learning experiences.”
