A duckling wandering on First Street in Collingwood will be splish-splashing away at a new home thanks to Collingwood and The Blue Mountains OPP.

OPP officer Dobbin and auxiliary OPP officer Richard spotted a small duckling trying to cross First Street earlier today, and stopped traffic to collect the fluffy-feathered youngling.

The OPP tried to locate the mama duck, but couldn't find her. One of the officers at the Collingwood detachment has a farm and ducks already living there, so the duckling will join the flock there.
