Inspector Jason Nickle is the new Detachment Commander for the Bracebridge OPP.

Congratulations to Inspector Jason Nickle as he takes on the role of Detachment Commander of Bracebridge Ontario Provincial Police. Inspector Nickle brings a wealth of knowledge drawn from his experience working in many areas of Ontario.

Inspector Nickle began his career with the OPP in 1995 at East Algoma Detachment.

In 2008 he transferred to the Sault Ste. Marie Detachment where he held various roles including Crime Unit Investigator and Technical Traffic Collision Investigator.

He went on to also serve at the Provincial Communications Centres in North Bay and Orillia. Inspector Nickle studied Aircraft Maintenance Engineering at Confederation College in Thunder Bay.

He is the recipient of a Commissioner's Citation for Life Saving, the St. Johns Ambulance Life Saving Award and the Police Exemplary Service Medal (20 years).
