ORILLIA COMMUNITY NON-PROFIT HOUSING CORPORATION

The Orillia Community Non-Profit Housing Corporation (OCNPH) volunteer board of directors, which is responsible for the governance of the corporation, are seeking new board of director members.
Specifically, OCNPH is looking for new members who have a strong sense of volunteerism and may demonstrate significant knowledge and experience in the areas of finance, capital maintenance planning, resident engagement, community services, government funding, Residential Tenancies Act, Social Housing Act, etc.
Working collaboratively with the management team, the board is actively involved in setting strategic priorities and goals based on the vision and mission of the organization. Members are expected to attend all board meetings and participate independently and knowledgeably in board deliberations. Board members are also required to be available/accessible for a minimum of two or three hours per month for meetings.
Background
Orillia Community Non-Profit Housing is a provider for families; we consist of nine two-bedroom, 63 three-bedroom, and four four-bedroom units that serve a diverse client base funded through the County of Simcoe.
