ORILLIA CONCERT ASSOCIATION

Have you been awaiting the return of live music to a stage near you?
The Orillia Concert Association is pleased to announce that, after almost two years, plans are in place for our Feb. 20 concert at the Orillia Opera House with Sonic Escape. Maria Millar on violin and Shawn Wyckoff on flute are returning for another outstanding, energetic presentation of traditional and original works.
Subscribers for our 2021-2022 season will know that the two fall concerts were presented through the benefits of online viewing.
This first concert of 2022, originally scheduled to be held at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, will now be held at the Orillia Opera House, at 2:30 p.m. This change in venue will better allow us to ensure all COVID protocols may be maintained.
All attendees will be required to provide proof of full vaccination status (using QR code) and identification on arrival, and the wearing of masks will be required for the duration of the concert.
The exciting sounds of The Hogtown Brass (March 27) and the Toronto All Star Big Band (May 1) round out our final two concerts of the year. The Orillia Opera House will be the setting for both of these spring concerts.
