NEWS RELEASE
ORILLIA CONCERT ASSOCIATION
*************************
The Orillia Concert Association’s (OCA) 2022-23 season is almost here.

The OCA is pleased to present its exciting and talented concert lineup for the coming season, and welcomes current and new subscribers to Sunday afternoon concerts at our historic concert venues, the Orillia Opera House and St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church. We hope you will be able to join us.

An ensemble from the Toronto Concert Orchestra leads off the season at the Orillia Opera House on Sunday, Oct. 30, at 2:30 p.m. The Toronto Concert Orchestra was founded by the incomparable music director, Kerry Stratton, and its musical diversity runs the gamut from the immortal Mozart to the legendary Elton John.

In November, Christopher Dawes (organist) will play a tribute to Kerry Stratton on the marvellous grand pipe organ at St. Andrew’s.

In 2023 there are concerts with Ladom quartet (cello, accordion, percussion and piano), the Weston Silver Band, and the Toronto Mandolin Orchestra.

We are holding ticket prices at the pre-COVID level of $90 for the five concerts — likely the only purchase you will make this year that has not been impacted by inflation. Payment may be made by cash or cheque, or online through the Orillia Opera House box office at www.orilliaoperahouse.ca/en/index.aspx.

For further information and full concert details, please visit the Orillia Concert Association website at www.orilliaconcertassociation.com or email [email protected].
