A 40-year-old tradition is continuing this summer at Couchiching Beach Park! Earlier this evening, the Orillia Silver Band was performing lively and thought-provoking big-band classics in addition to a pair of beautiful scores commissioned for the band. The Sunday Evening Band Series has been happening at the Rotary Aqua Theatre for 40 years. Next Sunday, that tradition continues when, at 6:30 p.m. the Barrie Skyliners Big Band will perform. There is no admission fee. The Aqua Theatre is on the shore of Lake Couchiching adjacent to the public beach area. Dave Dawson/OrilliaMatters
