ORILLIA OPP

The Orillia Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have arrested a male in connection with an indecent act at Couchiching Park in the City of Orillia.
On April 24, 2019 shortly before 8 p.m. members of the Orillia OPP were dispatched to Couchiching Park where a male was reported to be committing an indecent act.
Police arrived on the scene and spoke to witnesses. After the initial investigation, police arrested 19-year-old (charge withdrawn) of Orillia.
The suspect has been charged with one count of Committing an Indecent Act in Public Contrary to Section 173(1)(a) of the Criminal Code.
The accused was held in custody and released from court on a Recognizance of Bail. The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Orillia on May 21, 2019.
