ORILLIA VOCAL ENSEMBLE

The celebration of a new year is often a chance to embrace new activities. If you enjoy singing in a choral setting and supporting the local community, the Orillia Vocal Ensemble (OVE) would love to hear from you.
The OVE is a mixed-voice (soprana, alto, tenor, bass) community choir that has raised over $200,000 for local charities through its concerts since 2010. Most recently the OVE was very pleased to support the Orillia Central Preschool (OCP), raising over $5,000 at their recent Christmas concert on Saturday, Dec. 21 to benefit the OCP to enhance their many programs for local children and their families.
OVE rehearsals recommence on Tuesday, Jan. 14 at 7:30 p.m. at St. Paul’s Centre, 62 Peter St. N., Orillia, to prepare for their spring fundraising concert on Wednesday evening, May 14. If you are interested in joining “Orillia’s pay-it-forward choir” contact the OVE by emailing [email protected] or OVE music director Blair Bailey at [email protected] prior to this date.
