Premier Doug Ford will be making the rounds in Barrie, Oro-Medonte Township and Orillia today.
Ford will begin his day in Oro-Medonte at 9:30 a.m. to take part in a ground-breaking ceremony for the new Automotive Innovation Park at Oro Station.
In the afternoon, the premier will be in Orillia at OPP General Headquarters for an announcement alongside Solicitor General Sylvia Jones, OPP Commissioner Thomas Carrique and Simcoe North MPP Jill Dunlop.
Ford will then tour Molded Precision Components near Shanty Bay. The local company has shifted its production in response to COVID-19 and has made more than 10 million face shields for front-line workers.
Later in the day, Ford will complete the local tour with stop at JOMI Technical Services, a Barrie-based engineering company that has retooled its facility to produce respiratory filters for vital personal protective equipment.
