The highly anticipated 2025 Orillia Kiwanis Music Festival is set to begin on Monday, March 31, and promises to be filled with inspiring performances, community connection, and the celebration of musical talent.
A beloved tradition in Orillia, the Kiwanis Music Festival has long been a platform for musicians of all ages and skill levels to showcase their talent, receive expert feedback, and share their love of music with the community. This year’s festival will feature a wide range of categories, including vocal, instrumental, and piano performances, as well as choral and ensemble groups.

Dates: March 31 to April 18, 2025
Location: various venues across Orillia (full schedule and venue details to be announced)
Participants: open to musicians of all ages from Orillia and surrounding areas
“The Orillia Kiwanis Music Festival is more than just a festival; it’s a celebration of creativity, dedication, and community spirit,” says Stephanie Pegelo, festival registrar. “Every year, we are inspired by the incredible talent and passion displayed by our participants. This event not only nurtures young musicians but also enriches the cultural fabric of our community.”
Participants will have the unique opportunity to perform before various adjudicators, who bring a wealth of experience and expertise to the festival. Their constructive feedback aims to inspire growth and excellence in all performers.
Registration information
Registration for the 2025 Orillia Kiwanis Music Festival is now open.
The final entry date is Jan. 31 for the following divisions: piano, pipe organ, strings, guitar, vocal, community choir, community brass, percussion and woodwinds, community and family instrumental ensembles.
The final entry date is Feb. 15 for the following divisions: drama and speech arts, school instrumental, school choirs and creative music.
