Grainne Hallman of Barrie is celebrating with her husband after winning a top prize of $100,000 with Instant Cleopatra (Game #2101).

“I had just dropped my husband off at work when I decided to stop at the store and buy a scratch ticket,” said Hallman as she picked up her prize at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto.

“At first I thought I had won $10, but after a closer look I saw it was actually $100,000,” said Hallman. “I checked the ticket on the OLG Lottery App and it said ‘Big Winner’, so I called my husband right away.”

After paying off some bills, the self-employed 57-year old says a vacation will be in order.

“It’s a feeling of freedom and relief!” concluded Hallman.

Instant Cleopatra is available for $5 a play and the top prize is $100,000. Odds of winning a prize are 1 in 3.73.

The winning ticket was purchased at Petro Canada on Dunlop Street in Barrie.
