The Simcoe County Bridal Show returns to the BMC on Oct. 19 and 20 and has partnered with ten local Simcoe County businesses to give away a grand prize $18,000 wedding to one lucky couple.
The wedding will take place Friday, April 24 at The Gibson Arts & Cultural Centre in Alliston, and will include catering for 50 guests from Cravings Fine Food, a photography package from Heather Hugo Photography, music by NightStyle Disc Jockeys, flowers from Art in Bloem, shop for your wedding dress at Ceremony Bridal Gown Studio, tuxedo's from Moores Clothing For Men, decor from Tiffany Party Rentals Limited, wedding cake from Cup CAKE, and the ceremony performed by Cheryl Peterson Rivet Officiant.
Three ballots will be drawn on Monday, Oct. 21 and invited to join Matt and Tara in the Fresh 93.1 studios on Wednesday, Oct. 23 to compete for the grand prize.
The Simcoe County Bridal Show is in its second year and expects to draw in excess of 4,000 people through the doors of the BMC over the two day event where couples planning their wedding will be able to meet and discuss wedding options with over 90 of the areas premiere wedding businesses.
Produced by KB Productions Inc., the Simcoe County Bridal Show is the largest wedding show in Central Ontario.
“The idea behind the Simcoe County Bridal Show is to gather all of the premiere local wedding businesses in one building so that local brides-to-be, and even Toronto couples getting married north of Toronto can easily connect with them and more easily plan their special day.” explains Kristine Barton, the Owner of KB Productions and the show producer.
Every wedding category will be represented including wedding venues, planners, caterers, cake makers, bridal salons, men’s formalwear, DJs, photographers, décor and rentals, florists, officiants, jewellery, travel, invitation designers/printers, hair salons, health & beauty and much more.
Other show highlights include:
- Fresh 93.1’s Matt and Tara will be on location Saturday, Oct. 20 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
- Brides-to-be can also enter the hourly giveaways taking place both days giving away $4,000 in prizes.
- Vendor bridal show exclusive discounts.
- Enter vendor contests at their booths.
- Free parking, free wedding magazines, and free samples while supplies last.

Tickets: Are available online through TicketPro. Advance tickets are $8 each, while tickets at the door are $10 each.
