A different kind of bell sounded at a local school this afternoon.
The Orillia Fire Department responded to a call at Regent Park Public School Monday afternoon.
Officials said on X (formerly known as Twitter) that a "small fire" had been extinguished.
"Everything is under control," said local fire officials, noting there were no injuries to students or staff.
"We’re in the process of ventilating the building and clearing water. Please avoid the area," noted the Tweet issued at around 4 p.m.
