OrilliaMatters received the following message and photos from St. Mark’s Presbyterian Church:
St. Mark’s Presbyterian Church (Jamieson Drive, Orillia) held a short Remembrance Day service outside the church at 11 a.m. today.
Approximately 40 people were in attendance and more than 400 knitted and crocheted poppies which had been lovingly made by members of the congregation were on display on the front lawn.
The Last Post and Reveille were played on the trumpet by Rev. Linda Patton-Cowie.
LEST WE FORGET.
