Due to the uncertainty of the weather forecast tonight, the City of Orillia's parks, recreation and culture department has decided to pull the plug on tonight's Movies and Music in the Park event.
With the sun expected to return to the Sunshine City tomorrow, the event has been moved to Thursday evening.
As a result, the Bandstand Revival concert by Rouge River Wind will begin at the Rotary Aqua Theatre at 6:30 p.m.
The Movie in the Park will follow, at dusk. The featured film for this event is Amadeus.
The city has organized Movies in the Park for the past few summers. Two screenings are held in July, followed by two in August. The rescheduled Thursday night event caps off the 2019 series.
There is no admission fee. While there is bleacher seating, you are encouraged to bring your own lawn chairs.
