DWN CRAFT CHOCOLATIER
**********************************
The grand opening for DWN Craft Chocolatier’s first retail location is on Wednesday, July 21 at 11 Mississaga St. E. in Orillia from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Everyone is welcome to shop DWN’s hand-crafted small batch chocolate and toast the newest addition to downtown Orillia. To celebrate, the first 20 visitors to the shop will receive a limited edition mocha almond chocolate bar.
During the grand opening and during regular shopping hours, provincial COVID-19 protocols will be in place. The DWN retail store will be open Wednesday to Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sundays noon to 5 p.m.
DWN has been operating in Orillia since February 2021 when the chocolate factory was opened in Progress Industrial Park. Limited shopping hours were available at the factory on Fridays and Saturdays, as well as pop-ups at the Orillia Fairground Farmers’ Market.
“I am so excited to be able to meet more of my customers in person,” says DWN owner Dawn Nita. “This little company has grown so much in six months and the local support has been fantastic.”
DWN creates small-batch handcrafted chocolate bars and confections using local, natural and carefully selected ingredients. DWN incorporates the fundamentals of bean-to-bar chocolate making with the whimsical colour and flavour combinations of fine chocolate bonbons to create flavours that are fun, comforting, and familiar.
For those who can’t make it to Orillia, orders can be placed anytime on DWNchocolate.com. Shipping is available Canada-wide using Canada Post calculated shipping rates. Complimentary local delivery is also available.
