The City of Orillia has received notice from the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit that the swimming advisory at Couchiching Beach, located at Couchiching Beach Park, has been lifted.
A swimming advisory was issued by the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit on July 6, 2021, due to higher than normal bacteria count.
All three swimming areas in Orillia are now open for swimming. This includes Couchiching Beach, Moose Beach and Portage Bay.
