Swimming advisory for Moose Beach lifted

The City of Orillia has received notice from the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit that the swimming advisory at Moose Beach, located at J.B. Tudhope Memorial Park, has been lifted.

A swimming advisory was issued by the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit on Aug. 20, 2018, due to higher than normal bacteria count.

All three swimming areas in Orillia are open for swimming. This includes Moose Beach, Portage Bay, and Couchiching Beach.
